Description MERZ283 REMINGTON NIMSCHKE ENGRAVED 12 GAUGE SINGLE SHOT ROLLING BLOCK #1; Stocks are of nicely figured wood with a rifle style buttplate. Receiver has full coverage engraving and is delicately engraved with a cat of some sort on each side of the receiver. Mechanics are excellent. A fairly dark bore with some light roughness throughout. Barrel measures 32 inches with a bead front sight and buckhorn rear sight. Missing the little “bow-tie” on the side of the frame. Good looking old gun that was quite fancy when it was new.
