Description R1003 EXCEPTIONAL U.S. REMINGTON SPLIT BREECH TYPE II ROLLING BLOCK SADDLERING CARBINE IN .50 RF; 20 inch round barrel chambered in 50 RF caliber.with an excellent bore. Gun is excellent overall with 95% barrel blue. Case colors on receiver have turned quite dark but are visible. Virtually all blue is intact on block and hammer. Original sights, sling ring bar and ring. Generally excellent wood but for a couple of scratches. “U.S.” on the buttplate. Hard to find a better one as this is one of the finest known.
