Description MERZ12A REMINGTON ROLLING BLOCK NIMSCHKE ENGRAVED SCHUETZEN RIFLE; Marked underneath the 34 inch barrel is 44S. Gun has the correct globe windage adjustable front sight. Folding tang sight. No provision for a barrel sight. Excellent plus bore. Wood has a little linseed oil add to it but not sanded or undersized. There is a small faint crack coming off the screw on the upper tang. Barely noticeable but it is there. Correct Remington hard rubber buttplate. Single trigger. Overall gun is in beautiful condition with about 90% original blue. Receiver is beautifully engraved and definitely the work of Nimschke. Retains about 90% vivid case color. This also came out of my personal collection and is guaranteed to please. ANTIQUE $ 17,500.
